More Zimbabweans are beginning to see that we are at war. In a world in which the few very rich, fight to keep their oppressive hold on those they exploit, Zimbabwe is no exception. Zimbabwe's First and Second Chimurenga uprisings, show in the long-suffering Zimbabwean spirit, a repeated refusal to succumb... Sanctions are a war without guns. By quietly placing economic sanctions on our already struggling nation, the old oppressor is silently declaring that the war we thought we had settled, is still to fight for. This new, 'smart,' war is beginning to cost real Zimbabwean lives... Young children in our drought afflicted land, are being subjected to the even greater hardship of a country under siege. We must take proper responsibility for the real reasons our people are dying. It is time we re-focus our attention on the real enemy...
